I am Davide, a Machine Learning Scientist at Booking.com in London (UK).
My professional journey started in architecture: before 2020, several design firms hired me as a "computational designer", which was a nice way to say that none of them really knew what I was doing.
Despite not having a traditional background, programming and data science have become my job and I still continue to improve my skills through side projects and (mostly medalles) Kaggle competitions.
I hold an MSc in Data Science from Birkbeck, University of London, and a long cycle degree (BEng + MSc) in Engineering for Buildings and Architecture from the University of Pisa.
